بیانیه محکومیت جنایات رژیم صهیونسیتی و خشونت‌های دولت آمریکا نسبت به دانشجویان و اساتید معترض

متن بیانیه به این شرح است:

بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم

در چند ماه اخیر، جهان شاهد یکی از هولناک ترین جنایات ضدبشری تاریخ معاصر از سوی رژیم صهیونیستی در غزه بوده است که منجر به کشته شدن دهها هزار نفر از جمله زنان و کودکان بی‌گناه و آوارگی صدها هزار فلسطینی گردید. این جنایات وحشتناک، خشم و انزجار مردم جهان را برانگیخته و موجی از اعتراضات را در سراسر دنیا به همراه داشته است.

از سویی ایستادگی دلاورانه مقاومت اسلامی در فلسطین، لبنان، سوریه، عراق و یمن در برابر اشغالگران و از سوی دیگر نزدیک به ۲۰۰ روز کشتار بی رحمانه غیرنظامیان به ویژه زنان و کودکان فلسطینی توسط رژیم جنایتکار صهیونیستی، عامل آگاهی گسترده جهانی از ماهیت پلید و درنده خویی این رژیم در جهان گردید و موج آرمان رهایی فلسطین و قدس شریف در سراسر عالم طنین انداز شد.

در میان این اعتراضات حق طلبانه در حمایت از مردم مظلوم غزه، دانشجویان و اساتید دانشگاه‌های آمریکا نیز با برگزاری تظاهرات، همبستگی خود را با مردم مظلوم فلسطین نشان داده و جنایات رژیم صهیونیستی را به شدت محکوم کرده‌اند. با این حال، این اعتراضات با خشونت بی‌رحمانه از سوی نیروهای نظامی این کشور و دستگیری صدها نفر از دانشجویان و اساتید دانشگاه ها روبرو شده است. این اقدامات خشونت‌آمیز، نقض آشکار آزادی بیان و حق اعتراض مسالمت‌آمیز است که از اصول بنیادی مردمسالاری به شمار می‌رود.

علاوه بر این، تهدید و برخورد خشونت آمیز دولت آمریکا با معترضان به جنایات و نسل کشی رژیم صهیونیستی، بار دیگر تناقضات و استانداردهای دوگانه غرب در زمینه آزادی بیان و حقوق بشر را آشکار ساخت. در حالی که کشورهای غربی مدعی حمایت از آزادی بیان و دموکراسی هستند و به حمایت جنون آمیز خود از توهین به مقدسات ادیان الهی می بالند، در عمل با سرکوب خشونت بار اعتراضات در محیط دانشگاهی و نقض حقوق معترضان، چهره حقیقی خود را نشان دادند.

بی شک آگاهی و آگاهی بخشی، اساسی ترین رسالت مراکز علمی و دانشگاهی در هر نقطه از عالم است و امروز مهم ترین وظیفه اساتید و دانشجویان جهان، حمایت از مظلومیت مردم بی دفاع فلسطین در برابر جنایات رژیم خونخوار صهیونیستی و رسوا نمودن حامیان این رژیم غاصب و سرکش است.

جامعه المصطفی بار دیگر ضمن محکوم نمودن جنایات رژیم اشغالگر علیه مردم مظلوم فلسطین و خشونت های دولت ایالات متحده امریکا نسبت به دانشجویان و اساتید معترض، از دولت‌ها و مجامع بین‌المللی می‌خواهد که برای توقف جنایات رژیم صهیونیستی و حامیان آن اقدام فوری و موثر انجام دهند.

“In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.”

In recent months, the world has witnessed one of the most horrific crimes against humanity in the contemporary history committed by the Zionist regime in Gaza, resulting in tens of thousands of innocent peoples’ death, including women and children, and the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians. These atrocious crimes have stirred fear, anger, and disgust among the people of the world, sparking a global wave of protests.

On one hand, the steadfast and courageous resistance of the Islamic resistance in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Yemen against occupiers, and on the other hand, the nearly 200 days of brutal massacre of civilians, especially Palestinian women and children, by the criminal Zionist regime have served as a catalyst for widespread global awareness of the vile and voracious nature of this regime in the world, sparking a wave of support for the liberation of Palestine and Jerusalem throughout the world.

Amidst these righteous protests in support of the oppressed people of Gaza, students and professors from American universities have also shown their solidarity with the people of Palestine by organizing demonstrations. They have strongly condemned the atrocities of the Zionist regime. However, these protests repressed ruthlessly and violently by the military forces of this country, leading to arrest of hundreds of students and professors. These violent actions constitute a blatant violation of the fundamental principles of democracy, including freedom of speech and the right to peaceful protest.

Furthermore, the United States government’s threat and harsh crackdown on the protesters against the atrocities and genocide of the Zionist regime once again revealed the contradictions and double standards of the West in the field of freedom of expression and human rights. While Western countries claim to support freedom of expression and democracy and elevate their insane support for blasphemy against divine religions, in practice, they have shown their true face through the brutal suppression of the protests in university atmosphere and the violation of protesters’ rights.

Undoubtedly, knowledge and enlightenment provision are the most fundamental missions of academic and educational centers and establishments at any point in the world. Today, the most crucial duty of the professors and students worldwide is to support the defenseless people of Palestine against the atrocities of the bloodthirsty Zionist regime and to disgrace the supporters of this occupying and rebellious regime.

Al-Mustafa International University once again condemns the crimes of the occupying regime against the oppressed people of Palestine and the violence of the United States government against the protesting students and professors. It urges governments and international organizations to take immediate and effective action to stop the crimes of the Zionist regime and its supporters.
